andletliveagain:

It’s sad to think that you may never see or talk to someone again who you once considered to be one of the most important people in your life at a certain point in time. This is one of those concepts that I will never be able to understand.

For those who are listening,

itwhatever:

People that you call “friends” will alienate you. Leave you out. Purposefully make you feel like an outsider. Why? Because you have something that they will never have. They are jealous of you. They want you to crumble inside and forget the natural ability that you have so that they can take center stage.

Don’t let them. Find your hidden talents. Use them to your advantage. Do not let anything stop you from being who you were born to be. Because one day, they will be front row at your concert. They will be reading your books. They will be watching your movie. They will be cheering for you as you score the winning point.

Nothing can stop you.
Nothing is holding you back.
Go ahead.
Take center stage.
Force them to put that spotlight on you.

dad: why are you drinking coffee at 10pm?
me: time is an illusion. once you realize that, you can transcend, and live in bliss
me: *takes sip*
me: also i have a 10 page paper due in the morning that i haven't started

i. if the boy who broke your heart calls you in the middle of the night, do not pick up. it’s hard, I know it’s hard, but you need to.

ii. winged eyeliner and red lipstick fix everything from a lack of confidence to a cracked heart.

iii. don’t go running back to your past because you’re lonely without him. you can make new friends, darling. he’ll just hurt you all over again.

iv. you have been beautiful long before he told you. do not ever assume that you aren’t now that he is gone.

v. cry when you need to, but always pick yourself back up.

vi. sometimes the best thing to do is to curl up on the couch with a cup of tea and a book. or maybe netflix.

vii. no matter how lost you feel, remember that someone loves you. and if you’re convince that no one does, I do. I love you.

viii. things will get better. I promise.
